I have been in the Roaring Fork Valley for many years and have eaten at dozens of restaurants in and around Aspen/Snowmass. I must say that the quality of the food and service at Little Mammoth is exceptional. Marco and Natasha are very accommodating and knowledgeable with just the right recommendations and the food is spot on every time. If you are in the Aspen/Snowmass area looking for an excellent dining experience around real people - do not miss your opportunity to dine at Little Mammoth Steakhouse in Snowmass Village. Easily one of the best spots meals in the valley!

I have had the privilege of dining at many elegant supposedly high end restaurants, but I was truly impressed with the service, atmosphere, presentation, and delicious food at Little Mammoth in Snowmass. The sorry was we only discovered it on our last night at the mountain, but be assured we will return! We knew this place was a winner the moment we walked in. Highly recommended.

We just ate there and it was really very good. The Snowmass Salad (stuffed artichoke) sounded too good to be true and it is. Highly recommended, beautiful dressing. Also the Jaeger Schnitzel - excellent; best I've ever had. We were a party of 7 and all agreed the food was wonderful.

We've eaten at this restaurant several times- this year and last; never disappointed. The owners are on site, very friendly- Ned is especially helpful with the food menu, and beer & wine lists. Every recommendation has been AMAZING!
The menu is eclectic- certainly something for everyone- a couple kid menu choices, many appetizers to choose from: the fried avocado is to die for, bruschetta specials melt in your mouth- with delicious pairing of meats and cheeses. There's several huge dinner salads with choices of meat if desired, a few schnitzel entrees (the owners are from Serbia! Give them a try- surprisingly good), a couple seafood entrees- Ahi Tuna, scallops, several tender, scrumptious steaks- even their sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus are mouth-watering....and do leave room for dessert- all made fresh on site (the chocolate cake with raspberry sauce is my fave!)
You won't find pasta or Mexican here....so Little Mammoth is a nice complement to Il Poggio and Venga Venga for Snowmass' limited restaurant scene....but with a more intimate, friendly ambiance.
